“We were quite pleased to learn that AV Structural was awarded the recent Audio-Visual System Replacement Project for the California Department of Public Health here in Richmond, CA. This upgrade has been in the works for over seven years (the original system was put in place as part of the construction of the facility 17 years ago), so we were anxious to have a very skilled and respected local audiovisual contractor design, provide and integrate so many disparate AV systems throughout our Campus, including fully integrated audio conference & videoconference AV & Control systems, matrixed video walls, and a 200-seat Multipurpose auditorium, complete with a 20,000 ANSI lumen projector, four remote controlled camera zones for dynamic videoconferencing and live streaming, and a Dolby Atmos surround sound system for truly immersive audio for audio playback presentations. AV Structural’s extensive knowledge of state of the art audio-visual systems and attention to the most minute details throughout the entire project was not unnoticed and was quite impressive. Our company recently found AV Structural after contacting several other similar businesses in the area. We had a mix of un-returned calls or no-shows. After contacting AV Structural, they were here as promised, provided several alternatives to our needs and completed the work promptly and cleanly. Since then we've hired them for several other projects to upgrade and replace equipment, all to our immense satisfaction. They are our go-to company now for any AV needs. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), in Richmond, CA, had one chance to implement a one-million-dollar upgrade project correctly to support the program’s AV needs now and in the future and we are extremely pleased with the work performed by AV Structural. Their knowledge and experience insured we had the right equipment combined with quality installation, service and support. They exceeded our expectations in pricing, customer service and support. They went above and beyond many times to accommodate last-minute changes/additions by CDPH. On a project of this size, there will always be a few pieces of equipment that arrive “bad”. These issues were quickly and seamlessly resolved so completions of rooms wasn’t delayed. Their back office navigated the sea of state procedures and requirements better than much larger companies did. In all, AV Structural has all the right people under one roof. I personally couldn’t be happier with the end results. As the one who will be operating/managing the equipment, I am thrilled, especially in our auditorium, which is now a theater with a 20,000 lumen projector, blue ray player and Dolby Atmos surround sound system, in addition to a four-camera videoconference system. Our capabilities have increased and we are now better able to respond to the increased technical demand of our programs and their visitors. So pleased were we with their work, that I would definitely recommend AV Structural to anyone planning an upgrade or new installation of av equipment – you can’t go wrong.
